Dieser Überblick berücksichtigt Indices nach a) ihrer Wichtigkeit zur Konstruktion eines gut diversifizierten Portfolios aus europäischer Perspektive, und b) nach dem Vorhandensein von ETFs auf den jeweiligen Rentenindex. Da durch den Euroraum nationale europäische Indizes an Wichtigkeit verloren haben, werden in dieser Aufstellung bekannte nationale Rentenindizes wie der deutsche REX nicht berücksichtig.
